SEGMENT 391 -392 This Old Car

SEGMENT 391

This Old Car

Featuring

John Fleming of Midcounty Auto Parts

and

Lloyds Tire Company

of Santa Cruz, California

Discussions at Mid County Auto Parts in Capitola
center around the best quality Right Idler Arm available,
manufactured by MOOG, the problem solvers,
an American company that is outdistancing all competitors with the only parts available offering lifetime warranties.

You can see by comparing the Moog part alongside Toyota and other knock-offs, the quality standard that Moog offers is unsurpassed.

The Right Idler Arm is a part on the car which was inspected during a recent filming of new tires, and must be in operating order prior to any alignment of the tires.

Also discussed is a Wix Oil Filter, manufactured by another American Company, and deemed to be more efficient due to larger intake holes, will also be demonstrated in an upcoming segment.

Lloyd's Tires of Santa Cruz is featured installing the Moog Right Idler Arm in Part One of the two parts of installation, the following segment, 392, completes the job with discussion of other trouble shooting on the 1991 Toyota 4-runner, namely, an emergency brake switch that will be replaced in another upcoming segment.

Lloyds Featured Mechanics Pat and Mike

Discussions on how to determine the age of manufacture on tires, their life span, and care, are also included.
